Sagging Ceiling

The Before Photo depicts the extensive water damage from a storm that breached the roof of this commercial building in Delta. Our SERVPRO crew demolished portions of the sagging ceiling for safety's sake before continuing with the cleanup. The roof was covered with a temporary blue tarp to keep out further rainwater, and the remainder of the ceiling was opened up and the materials discarded. Dehumidifiers and air movers worked hard to dry out the crawlspace area below the roof. This took several days, and after measuring to ensure that normal moisture content levels had been restored, the rebuild could begin. Before installing new drywall panels, the exposed trusses were sprayed, along with the HVAC duct system, with an antimicrobial agent for sanitizing and inhibiting future mold growth.
